Remodeling of a playground / park / athletic field in Bagley, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project. In general the work consists of: Work in the Lodge including remodeling the restroom to meet accessibility standards, new acoustical ceilings, new lighting, vinyl flooring and blinds in dining areas, an exterior concrete stoop replacement and new exterior doors. Work in the (4) cabins including new plumbing fixtures and light fixtures, minor flooring repairs at cabin entry doors and replace all windows. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
