*As of 1/6/2022 - This project has not been awarded as of this date. Bids came in over budget so the owner is reviewing funding options.* The Project consists of the following major items: Raising three (3) raw water pumps and platforms. Install new steps. Relocating pump controls to a new elevated generator platform. Upsizing existing generator fuel tank. Raise and extend generator platform. Install new fuel tank, new steps and fencing. After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract. All attendees to both the Pre-Bid Meeting and Bid Opening will be required to adhere to CDC, State, and Local COVID-19 related guidelines and procedures. We recommend each interested party send only one representative. Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall be required to submit with their Bids affidavits of "Good Faith Efforts" in the recruitment of Minority Businesses. The Work will be subject to the prevailing wage rates and to the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements established by the U.S. Department of Labor.
