Furnish and install all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of approximately 1,250 linear feet of 12-inch PVC sanitary sewer, extending from the northmost sewer manhole located at approximate address 4997 TX-146 on the east side of Texas Highway (Hwy) 146, including a 20-inch steel casing pipe as shown on the construction drawings. Work also includes the furnishing and installation of four (4) manholes along the sanitary sewer alignment. Work shall include traffic control, boring, seeding and grading, all together with all subsidiary and incidental requirements in accordance with the plans and specifications. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Liberty, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Liberty, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Liberty, Texas for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
