Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Federal Way, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of July 9, 2024, construction is complete. The new OLYMPIC VIEW K-8 SCHOOL (OLV) will replace the existing elementary school on its current site at 2626 SW 327th Street, Federal Way, WA 98023. The new school will be approx. 65,000 SF serving grades K-8 and will accommodate a student enrollment of 725. The site is approximately 17 acres and will include site improvements, utilities, and parking lots. Bids must be received in accordance with the requirements set forth in the instructions to bidders. All bids shall remain valid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days, alternates for ninety (90) calendar days. In accordance with RCW 39.04.320 the state of Washington requires 15% apprenticeship participation. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities. Budget estimate for this bid package is $215,000. A tentative start date is March 1, 2022.
