Work to be covered by the bid shall include: Roofing Contractor: Replace existing roofing system as described in the Construction Documents, and all associated work. Work includes removal of existing roofing system, coping, flashing, counterflashing, roof drains, wood blocking, and all associated work. Work also includes installation of new membrane roofing system, roof edge metal, flashing, counterflashing, roof drains, new treated wood blocking, and all associated work. B. Type of Contract: 1. Roofing Contractor C. Bid Requirements. Bid security payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the total Bid, shall be executed by the Bidder in the form of certified check, bank draft, or acceptable surety. 3. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Payment and Performance Bond. Contractor must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with Illinois Wages of Employees of Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Wages printed in the Project Manual are for the month of bidding only. Certified Payroll is required to be submitted with all Pay Applications. 4.
