Utility replacement, relocation and undergrounding along a project site beginning at the intersection of North Main Street and Mt. Crawford Avenue, running approximately 1,000 feet in length south on North Main Street, and concluding at the intersection of North Main Street and Green Street. This project includes the removal and replacement of water and sewer lines located near the center of North Main Street and the installation of conduit and casting of an underground conduit duct bank for utilities that will run adjacent to the new water and sewer lines for the entire length of the project site. In addition, the project includes traffic management during all stages of construction, erosion and sediment control, the installation of new pavement in all disturbed areas, and new sidewalk, curb, and gutter on the west side of North Main Street in accordance with VDOT standards. a. The removal and replacement of an existing sewer line currently located near the center of North Main Street and running the entire length of the project site. b. The removal and replacement of an existing water line currently located near the center of North Main Street and running the entire length of the project site. c. The installation of conduit and casting of an underground conduit duct bank for utilities which will run adjacent to the new water line under North Main Street for the entire length of the project site. d. Traffic management during all stages of construction, erosion and sediment control, the installation of new pavement in all disturbed areas, and new sidewalk, curb, and gutter on the west side of North Main Street in accordance with VDOT standards.
