Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bridgewater, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
Construction of Veteran's Park at the corner of Ashby Street and Main Street in the Town of Bridgewater, Virginia The project in question is the construction of Veterans Park at the corner of Ashby Street and Main Street. Approximately 42 x 57, the Park would feature both plantings and hardscaping. We envision (i) A mulched area containing three trees on the west end, with one of the trees being a Dawn Redwood (ii) A larger hardscaped area to the east, probably utilizing exposed aggregate, which would run all the way to the Main Street sidewalk, (iii) On the edge of the hardscaped area, just by the mulched area, a two-tiered set of planters for flowers, (iv) Two benches, (v) A wall to be used to display memorial plaques, (vi) A large torch to be lit constantly and fueled by LP gas, and (vii) A watering system for the flowers and the trees. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
