Renovation of a stadium in Eleele, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Pursuant to HRS 103D-1002, Hawaii Products Preference, persons wishing to certify and qualify a product not currently listed on the Hawai'i Product List, shall submit a Certification for Hawai'i Product Preference, Form SPO-038, to: cokpurchasing@kauai.gov no later than November 5, 2021. For multiple products, one (1) form shall be submitted for each product. Reference the Schedule B; Hawai'i Products Preference for more information. Bidders are further notified of the requirements of Act 190, SLH 2011, SB 758, wherein the County of Kauai is required to utilize the Hawai'i Compliance Express (HCE) to obtain proof of compliance with tax, registration, and labor requirements prior to the issuance of an award. Bidders are strongly encouraged to register via HCE to allow for needed proof of compliance prior to the issuance of an award. (HRS 103D-328, HRS 103D-310, HAR 3-122- 112). The Director of Finance reserves the right to cancel this Invitation for Bid or to reject any or all bids in whole or in part if deemed to be in the best interest of the County. All prospective bidders shall have a Hawai'i State Contractor's License Type "A" or "B" PRIOR to submittal of bids. register for this solicitation. This is a State-Aid Project funded by the State of Hawaii and the County of Kauai.
