The construction of the CR214 Well No. TR-50 Wellhead and Site Improvements project requires the Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to install the wellhead piping, the final well casing flange, an owner furnished vertical turbine well pump with a 125-HP motor, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), an owner furnished 150 kW standby diesel generator sets and automatic transfer switch, associated appurtenances, raw water main, concrete well pad, instruments, controls, electrical equipment, all necessary soil and erosion control devices, construct the well site access road, pressure test and disinfect the well, and demolish electrical, instrumentation, and control work as shown on Drawings. Note: All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Encouraged Not to Contact Any Member of the St. Johns County Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. St. Johns County Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids/proposals, Waive Minor Informalities, or Award the Bid/proposal Which Best Serves the Interests of St. Johns County. Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and all other facilities and incidentals required for approximately 2,800 linear feet of 12 inch DR 18 - PVC raw water pipe, all the above grade mechanical piping, install new well pump and motor (pre-purchased by Owner), site work at the well site, electrical and instrumentation improvements, and all miscellaneous work at the Well TR-50 Wellhead Assembly and Raw Water Main Project (SJCUD Project No. 4488-56302-6267- 56302) in its entirety, as required by these Specifications, SJCUD Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Standards Manual (2021), and shown on the Contract Drawings. This project will consist of a new Well Header Facility and will route new raw groundwater flow pumped from the Floridan aquifer at new Well TR-50 to the connection at the SJCUD CR-214 Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Wellfield System tie-in point on the existing 20-inch raw water main.
B. The Contractor shall perform the Work complete, in place, test and make ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, replacements and restoration required as a result of damages caused during construction.
