The Prime Contractor shall be qualified in, under Rule Chapter 14-22, Florida Administrative Code, the following major classes of work: 1) Flexible Paving and 2) Hot Plant-Mixed Bituminous Courses. Additionally, the Prime Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified in 3) Drainage and 4) Grading. The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified contractors to provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies to resurface approximately 11.18 miles of Bay County local roads. The project will consist of earthwork operations, full depth mixing of existing pavement/base/subgrade, full depth patching, base repair in selected areas, paving, replacement and lining of existing cross drains, and stabilization of all disturbed areas. This Contract shall commence upon the date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed and work shall be completed in 180 calendar days.
