Renovation of a civil project in Panama City, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified contractors to replace various pump motors at multiple Bay County Utility Services Water Treatment Plant facilities. Work includes but is not limited to: all labor and materials needed to remove and replace the existing motors and perform a startup of the supplied motors that meets the requirements of the manufacturer to maintain the warranty. A three-year warranty on all material, equipment and workmanship is required. U.S. Electric Motors, GE or an approved equal manufacturer of the following totally enclosed fan cooled, inverter rated motors. Qualification: Contractors shall be Florida licensed electrical contractor. Sub-Contractors shall be Florida licensed in their trade. Bids may be deemed nonresponsive if not accompanied by proof of State of Florida General Contractor's or Building Contractor's License. Special Accommodation: Any person requiring a special accommodation at a Pre-Bid Conference or Bid opening because of a disability should call the Purchasing Department at (850) 248-8270 at least five (5) workdays prior to the Pre-Bid Conference or Bid opening. For Hearing Impaired, Dial 1-800-955-8771 (TOO), and 1-800-955-8770 (Voice). The County Purchasing Department will be the only point of contact for this ITB. Under no circumstances may a bidder contact any County Commissioner, County Administrator, or County employee concerning this ITB until after award. Any such contact may result in disqualification as per Bay County Code Section 2-124. Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department at Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov or FAX to (850) 248-8276. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CST) on Monday, January 10, 2022.
