As of March 14, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Bay County Board of County Commissioners is seeking statements of qualifications from firms to provide engineering services for the design of improvements to the potable water infrastructure of the County by replacing the existing raw water aerial pipe crossing affixed to the Deer Point Dam over Deer Point Reservoir, with a 36", 2000 LF, FPVC subaqueous pipeline. Respondents shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department at Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov or FAX to (850) 248-8276. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CST) on Friday, December 3, 2021. All firms, to include sub-consultants, shall be State of Florida licensed professionals. Architect and/or Engineering firms shall be Florida licensed firms. Architects shall hold a Florida Professional Architect license. Engineers shall hold a Florida Professional Engineer's license. Surveyors shall hold a Professional Land Surveyor's License. Estimated Budget $400,000.00 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
