Questions will be accepted until 3:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021; Project: Services for Copper Removal: Service generally consists of furnishing and installing a complete copper removal system, including chemicals and ancillary equipment, as needed to meet the permitted copper limits, required by PA DEP, for the wastewater treatment plant effluent. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. See Instructions to Bidders for other provisions on the time available for acceptance of Bids. It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidder shall have a minimum (5) year, (5) project documented experience in the type of Work required by this Project (i.e., providing chemicals to municipal entities for extended periods and servicing provided equipment). Bidders, subcontractors, their workers and any persons providing labor and products to the Project shall be persons lawfully permitted to work in the United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Joint Municipal Authority of Wyomissing Valley hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid. Prequalification is required by proposers/bidders via jar testing with proposed chemicals. Owner will make site available to proposers/bidders that desire to complete jar testing.
