Renovation of a parking garage in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

The scope of work includes structural and waterproofing repairs to be performed on the Green - Armada Hoffler Parking Garage, Red - Westin Parking Garage, Blue - Cosmopolitan Parking Garage, Orange - Clark Nexsen Garage, and Maroon - Dick's Sporting Goods Parking Garage. Work incidental to the repairs, including, but not limited to, repainting traffic markings, use of temporary shoring devices, use of temporary traffic control measures, and protection of persons and property is also included in this project. The Work generally includes the following: A. Green (Block 4) - Armada Hoffler Parking Garage 1. Repair spalls, delaminations, and exposed reinforcement in concrete surfaces including floor, vertical, and overhead. 2. Repair concrete cracks - rout and seal as well as epoxy injection. 3. Install shear connections in topping slabs control / construction joints. 4. Replace damaged/deteriorated barrier cables. 5. Replace select joint sealants. 6. Replace select winged expansion joints and cover plates. 7. Install joint sealants and waterproof traffic coating at cast-in-place concrete closure pours. B. Red (Block 7) - Westin Parking Garage 1. Repair spalls, delaminations, and exposed reinforcement in concrete surfaces including floor, vertical, and overhead. 2. Repair concrete cracks - rout and seal as well as epoxy injection. 3. Clean and coat corroded steel connections. 4. Clean and paint corroded steel connections on pedestrian bridge 5. Repair brick facade. 6. Replace damaged/deteriorated barrier cables. 7. Replace select joint sealants, primarily on Level 6. 8. Replace select winged expansion joints. 9. Install joint sealants and waterproof traffic coating at cast-in-place concrete closure pours. C. Blue (Block 10) - Cosmopolitan Parking Garage 1. Repair spalls, delaminations, and exposed reinforcement in concrete surfaces including floor, vertical, and overhead. 2. Repair concrete cracks - rout and seal as well as epoxy injection. 3. Clean and coat corroded steel connections. 4. Repair grout pockets at barrier cables. 5. Replace damaged/deteriorated barrier cables. 6. Replace select joint sealants. 7. Replace select expansion joints. 8. Install joint sealants and waterproof traffic coating at cast-in-place concrete at floor blockout. 9. Repair / replace vertical expansion joint. 10. Install supplementary floor drain. D. Orange (Block 11) - Clark Nexsen Parking Garage 1. Repair spalls, delaminations, and exposed reinforcement in concrete surfaces including floor, vertical, and overhead. 2. Repair concrete cracks - rout and seal as well as epoxy injection. 3. Replace select joint sealants, predominantly on Level 6. 4. Install joint sealants and waterproof traffic coating at cast-in-place concrete closure pours and stressing pockets on Level 6. E. Maroon (Block 12) - Dick's Sporting Goods Parking Garage 1. Repair spalls, delaminations, and exposed reinforcement in concrete surfaces including floor, vertical, and overhead. 2. Repair concrete cracks - rout and seal as well as epoxy injection. 3. Repair grout pockets. 4. Replace select bearing pads. 5. Repair precast corbel spalls and delaminations. 6. Replace select joint sealants, predominantly in the Level 2 and Level 4 topping slabs. 7. Replace expansion joint on Level 1 ramp including a portion of concrete topping replacement. Green (Block 4) - Armada Hoffler: 229 Town Center Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Red (Block 7) - Westin: 4535 Commerce Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Blue (Block 10) - Cosmopolitan: 4544 Columbus Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Orange (Block 11) - Clark Nexsen: 4525 Main St., Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Maroon (Block 12) - Dick's Sporting Goods: 4621 Columbus St., Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Attention of Bidders is directed to Section 2.2-4367-2.2-4377 Virginia Public Procurement Act(VPPA) (Conflict of Interest). The City of Virginia Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to wave any informalities. The City reserves the right to enter into any contract deemed to be in its best interest. Please be advised that the City of Virginia Beach is canceling the above referenced bid due technical issues that prevented Bidders from submitting their bids online as was stated as an option in the solicitation. This bid will be re-solicited in the near future.
