Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cedar Park, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 48,283-square-foot municipal facility.
As of March 14 2022 this project has been awarded. PROPOSALS are invited for the items and scope of work as follows: City Hall Building 1 and 2 Remodel: Exterior scope includes a new canopy for Building 1 and landscaping for the main entry. A portion of both building 1 and 2 will be renovated to accommodate department relocations. Phased construction of work will include Building 1 and Building 2. Additionally, finish upgrades will occur for the remainder of the buildings. Some portions of both the buildings will remain operational throughout construction. Municipal court: Finish upgrades including carpet, paint, and base. The deadline to ask questions is 11/09/2021 11:59 PM CST he Work shall include furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the complete construction of the following: Phasing will be required to complete the work Cedar Park Facility will be partially occupied during construction. Coordiantion with City Staff will be required to maintain operational functions required. After hour work may be a part of this scope to meet the requirements and timeline. City Hall Building 1: Partial renovation to 3 story building built in 2007. First floor: Interior renovation includes finish upgrades to the Elevator cab, Flooring, base, and paint. Installation of custom graphics on elevator cab and walls as indicated by Drawings. New lighting and acoustical treatment as indicated in Drawings. Second Floor renovation: create new reception area for Building Inspections that ties into main lobby space. Cooridination with Furniture vendor of new systems furniture. Partial renovation of core area to create green room, conference space, and new offices. Coordination of new finish upgrades throughout as indicated on Drawings. Coordinate with Architect on phasing and furniture installation. Implementation of digital displays as designed. Expand existing Restrooms to include 1 additional stall in each. New countertops in both restrooms as designed.. Third Floor: Upgrades to Conference spaces to include acoustical wall treatment and wood wall treatment as designed. Modification to reception desks to incorporate new finish treatments. New carpet, base, and paint upgrades throughout. Relocate Economic Development and Community Affairs departments per plans. Exterior Scope: Addition of Exterior canopy for Building 1. Entrance Landscape feature for Building 1 as designed in Drawings. Fencing at 6 locations to contain electrical disconnects. Installation of bollards at Building 1 and Building 2 entrances. City Hall Building 2: Partial renovation of existing one-story building built in 2007. Utility Billing to receive security updates per plans including bullet resistant panels and film. Renovate other portions of the building to include new walls, ceilings, and flooring to allow for Finance Department. Municpal court Building: Provide new finish upgrades including carpet, base, and paint as designed. Existing ceramic tile to remain in place
