The City of Gloucester, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from pre-qualified Trade Contractor-Bidders for the construction of the East Gloucester/Veterans' Memorial Elementary School, 11 Webster Street, Gloucester, MA. Estimated Cost: 51.8M A. The project intent is to construct a new elementary school building at 11 Webster Street, Gloucester, MA. The
proposed school will be located on the existing Veterans' Memorial site. The original Veterans' Memorial School
operations have been relocated to another location in the city to allow the construction of the new East
Gloucester/Veterans' Memorial School to be constructed on a site without the need to maintain Veterans' Memorial
on its original site. The new school will include general, special education, and dedicated instruction classrooms for
grades K through 5th grade, a gymnasium, media center, cafeteria and associated kitchen, administrative areas and
support spaces to serve the primary occupancy.
