This small order purchase will be awarded as a whole or by line item, whichever is in the best interest of the City, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Seller must quote all items in order to be eligible for award. Do not deliver or provide services until notified by department Removal of snow and ice on walkways steps and parking lots after actual snow events of 3 to 6 inches of accumulation. Must salt/deice after removal. Vendor should clean area within 3 hours of storm ending. Calcium Chloride should be used as a melting agent for snow- and ice-covered surfaces. Rock salt should not be used in lieu of calcium chloride. Vendor is to provide all necessary supplies and equipment. This contract is on an as needed basis only. The contract can be cancelled at any time at the discretion of the Department. See attached vendor location sheet. Vendor must visit each location to review sites.
