VSU is currently seeking to prequalify contractors to receive as many fully qualified Offerors as possible to bid on the Rogers Stadium Track Replacement & Football Field Artificial Turf. Contractors shall have experience in turf and track projects.
Construction of an artificial turf field and urethane track system within the existing Rogers Stadium at Virginia State University. The artificial turf field will be constructed first, protecting the existing track for use in the spring. Select repairs on the existing track will be performed during the spring, to be complete and usable prior to a 5/5/21 event. Following the completion of track season (5/10/22), demolish the existing track and repave and replace with a urethane track system.

Pre-qualification Conference: Will not be held. This is a process to qualify contractors to bid on work. A prebid conference and site visit will be held when each project bids. It is the intent of the university to begin work on this project by January 2022 and the estimated construction duration is 270 days. a. Five submission sets TOTAL are required. This includes one original, which shall be clearly marked, and four additional copies. b. One USB flash drive of the complete submission set in electronic pdf format.

To be Responsive, submissions shall include the following documents in this order: In compliance with this Request for Qualifications, including all provisions and attachments referenced herein, and subject to all the terms and conditions set forth herein, the undersigned offers and agrees to furnish the services described. It is understood that this proposal may be modified, by mutual agreement in subsequent negotiations. The contractor: has had Performance or Payment Bond claims paid on its behalf in the last three (3) years.
