Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The objective of this project is to remove and replace an existing cattle fence with a new wildlife friendly fence. The total length of the fence to be removed and replaced is 6.75 km and follows an existing abandoned rail line. Services will include removal and disposal of existing fence at a designated disposal location. This project needs to be completed before the onset of winter (frozen ground) in 2022. Fence replacement (including fence markers and perch protectors) will help reduce the chances of low light collision by Greater Sage-grouse and limit the perching of known predators. It will also benefit many other wildlife species native to the area while they move across the landscape. Project delayed due to weather until next year.
