Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hagersville, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The following is a general, but not necessarily complete, description of the work to be completed under this contract (quantities are approximate): - Site Preparation - General Site Grading and a Storm Water Retention Pond Excavation - 400m - 150mm DR 18 Watermain - 288m - 200mm Sewermain SDR 35 Pipe - 330m - 125mm Sanitary Service Pipe - 2 Connections to Manholes & Sanitary Sewer Connections - 3 Century Hydrant Assemblies - Hydrants Shall Be Unplugged - 3 Connections to Existing Watermain - 1 Catch Basin - 7 - 1200mm Manholes - 250m - 25mm Water Service - 2,600m2 - HL8 and HL3 Asphalt - 40m - 300mm BOSS 2000 Culvert - 110m - 450mm BOSS 2000 Culvert - 435m - 1.2m Wide Concrete Sidewalk - Final Site Works and Terra Seeding The Contractor shall be advised of available excess fill within 3km of the project site. This fill can be used for common excavating and grading. It is unknown if this material may be utilized for roadway sub grade construction. The Contractor shall be responsible for estimating the available quantity. Any associated geotechnical testing of this material shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. All works detailed in this document are located on the land of the Mississauga of the Credit First Nation (the reserve). *Award amount was not released for publication.
