The Six Nations of the Grand River is serviced with a grid pattern of roadways that has a range of road surfaces of; gravel, chip and tar and hot mix pavement. It is also serviced with a total of 20 bridges and 19 cross culverts of concrete or steel. Three (3) bridges are shared with the Mississauga's of the Credit First Nation and are identified as Bridge #11, Bridge #12, and Bridge #19. Two (2) others are within the boundary of the Mississauga's of the Credit First Nation identified as Bridge #13 and Bridge #16 are not part of this assignment. These Terms of Reference define the conditions and scope of services, the Consultant is to perform for the Six Nations of the Grand River. The most recent Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM) Summary Report was completed in 2020 and will be provided to the Successful Consultant. Bridge #19 is currently being assessed for follow up work in partnership with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and Indigenous Services Canada. Culvert C2040 will be replaced in Summer 2022. Both structures have been left out of this assignment. Bridge No. 7 was replaced in 2021. No further studies or work have been done on these bridges since 2020. Last date to submit questions is July 8th 2022 at noon. Questions to be submitted via email only to DPW@sixnations.ca.
