Delta Diablo (District) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors interested in providing sewer repair services for the Camp Stoneman Interceptor Force Main Repair Project. The contractor will work in close coordination with the District's Project Manager and Construction Inspector to perform work as specified in this proposal. The Camp Stoneman pump station and force main system was designed and constructed in 1979. The system consists of a privately owned and operated pump station along with a 10-inch District owned force main that transports flow from Contra Costa Industrial Park, a northern Pittsburg industrial area, to the Pittsburg conveyance system upstream of the District's Wastewater Treatment Plant influent sewer junction structure. The existing 10-inch force main was constructed using slip-lining construction methods into an existing 36-inch RCP gravity line. The work, in general, consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 10 to 15 feet of 10-inch polyethylene pipe, removal of an existing manhole, temporary bypassing of pump station flows and inspection of repaired facilities upon completion. District staff will review all quotations received and will select one to perform the work.
