As of January 21, 2026, an engineer has been selected for the project study. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to fiscal year 2032. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City is seeking a Design Professional Company to conduct a study in order to provide information to assist in identifying key project design elements and to develop conceptual roadway alternative analysis, conceptual design, and estimates of improvement costs and schedule. This study will provide the framework for well-formed and supportable decisions that may affect and enhance future development and transportation opportunities. The Design Concept Report (DCR) will document and present the findings, conclusions, and recommendations developed during the course of this study.
