The City of Peoria is seeking proposals from qualified consultants, teams, or firms for Streets Materials Testing. The City of Peoria is scheduled to provide approximately $10,000,000 dollars of surface treatments and street maintenance on various city streets in Fiscal Year 2022. Therefore, the City is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide testing of Seal Coats, Slurry Seal, Micro Seal, Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal, related emulsions, asphalt rubber binder on production samples, asphalt concrete, testing Portland Cement Concrete, Aggregate Base Course, Subgrade, Inspection services and a variety of asphalt material field testing when required on materials while production is occurring. Proposals will be evaluated on both technical qualifications of the firm and the assigned personnel. The City will issue written notice to the Consultant for acting or failing to act as in any of the following: The Consultant provides material that does not meet the specifications of the contract :The Consultant fails to adequately perform the services set forth in the specifications of the contract. The term of any resultant contract shall commence on the first day of the month following the date of award and shall continue for a period of two (2) years thereafter, unless terminated, cancelled or extended as otherwise provided herein.
