The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking one or more qualified firms (Respondents) to perform various Job Order Assignments in office, retail, and other commercial space on an as-needed basis at ERS' Headquarters Building, located at 200 East 18th Street, Austin, Texas 78701 and/or the 1836 San Jacinto Building located at 1836 San Jacinto Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78701. Respondent shall provide the level of services required in the RFP and meet other requirements that are in the best interests of ERS, its members, and the state of Texas (State). Respondent shall be required to execute a contract (Contract) provided by, and satisfactory to, ERS for a period that begins upon execution of the Contract by ERS and extends for an initial two (2) year period with ERS having the option to renew the Contract(s) for three (3) additional one (1) year terms, subject to the terms of the Contract(s). It is anticipated the Contract(s) will be executed in May 2022. Questions will be accepted via Bonfire until November 9, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. CT. ERS reserves the right to rebid the RFP if deemed by ERS to be in the best interests of ERS, its members, and/or the State. ERS also reserves the right to reject any Proposal submitted that does not fully comply with the RFP's instructions and criteria. ERS is under no legal requirement to execute a Contract on the basis of this notice or upon issuance of the RFP and will not pay any costs incurred by any Respondent in connection with the preparation of a Proposal. ERS also reserves the right to revise any provisions set forth in the RFP at any time prior to execution of a Contract where ERS deems it to be in the best interests of ERS, its members, and/or the State.
