The HVAC Upgrades Project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment with new equipment and/or redundant equipment including upgrading heating/cooling zones to variable air volume flow, providing building automation system, ductwork rerouting, new temperature control valves and actuators, new AHU economizer dampers and actuators, new air filters for the AHUs, new hot water boilers for the Administration and Operations buildings, new redundant hot and chilled water pumps, new redundant mini-split for the Maintenance Building, start/stop and status for all exhaust fans, and integration of controls of all components to a new building automated system The WORK must be completed within four hundred sixty (460) calendar days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code Section 3300, the OWNER has determined that the CONTRACTOR shall possess a valid Class "A" General Engineering Contractor License or Class "B" General Building Contractor at the time that the Bid is submitted. Failure to possess the specified license shall render the Bid as non-responsive and shall act as a bar to award of the Contract to any Bidder not possessing said license at the time of Bid submittal. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as it may best serve the interest of the OWNER
