Site work for a swimming pool in Henderson, Nevada. Conceptual plans call for site work for a swimming pool.
As of 1/6/22 all bids were rejected since they were all over budget. For Wells Pool and Deck Improvements The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting Bids from qualified firms to complete pool and pool deck improvements at the Wells Outdoor Pool, located at 1640 Price St., Henderson, Nevada. A. Contractor shall perform all Work and provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete this project. a. Contractor shall demo and replace approximately 7,055sf of concrete pool deck and replaster a 4,300sf pool. Contractor is responsible for verifying the exact square footage. Existing plaster to be removed using hydro blast method only. b. Contractor shall disassemble slide/stair and store at adjacent splash pad, provide fencing to secure slide/stair components during construction, pour back pad for slide/stair at same height as before and reinstall slide/stair and remove temp fencing Question Cutoff Date - 1/3/2022 03:00:00 PM (ET) 2. Contractor shall furnish and replace/install the following: i. All decking with minimum 4500 psi concrete with heavy broom finish ii. All plaster with 33% quartz iii. New lane marker tile at bottom of pool iv. 36" of tile surrounds at each return v. All skimmers vi. All jigs vii. Autofill viii. All deck drains ix. All light niches x. Ladders (inset) xi. Metal rope anchors for lane lines xii. Light J-boxes xiii. Pole holders in shallow end xiv. All waterline tile xv. All returns xvi. Pool lights with 110V LED fixtures xvii. Add foam coverings to all metal handrails 3. Contractor shall remove all demolished concrete from the site and subgrade to be compacted before new deck is poured. 4. Contractor shall sawcut control joints for new concrete deck. Spacing is to be 7'x7', diagonal pattern. Provide expansion joint every ~42', off building, and around perimeter as per industry standards and caulk expansion joints. Contractor is allowed to sawcut around existing slide/stair structure, storage shed (SE section of pool area), and pump equipment shed (NE section of pool area) and NOT replace those sections. 5. Contractor shall add two anchor tethers approx. 5' off the south wall and 20' apart from one another, so that the metal stand for pool cover can be secured from vandalism. Exact locations to be coordinated with City representative. Refer to Exhibit B, Tether Anchor Detail. 6. Contractor shall install all required pool depth markers per Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) standards. 7. Contractor is responsible for submitting for all required permits associated with this Work, including coordinating with SNHD, however the City will pay the permit fees and shall not be included in the Bid amount.
