Site work for a water / sewer project in Madison Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All bids must remain open and be irrevocable until January 17, 2022. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this project. The project is described as follows: Install 6,440 ft of 8" water main and appurtenances along Middletown-Eaton Rd (SR-122) & Hill St, including 3 connections to existing mains, 37 service replacements, and 2 HDD road crossings, in Madison Township, Butler County, Ohio. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. All corporate sureties shall be licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of the project. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best base bid is in excess of 10% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost of $823,000. This is an Ohio prevailing wage project.
