Renovation of a municipal facility in Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Deadline for Bidder's questions is 12:00 noon on DEC 1, 2021. Submit questions by email only to contact@ZDSDesign.com. Addenda will be issued by the Engineer to registered bidding document holders only, who will automatically receive all addenda in electronic format (PDF) via file transfer email. Additional reproduced paper copies of the initially issued Bidding Documents and any subsequent addenda are also available from the Engineer upon request by registered bidding document holders only, and upon payment of a non-refundable cost; contact the Engineer for further information. Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid protecting the Kanawha County Commission as Bid Bond oblige. Should the Bidder refuse to enter a Contract with the Owner on the terms stated in the Bidding Documents or fail to furnish Bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and all obligations arising thereunder, the full amount of the Bid Security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages, not as a penalty. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and the right to withhold final award of contract for sixty (60) days after opening bids. The goal is to issue a Letter of Intent for Notice to Proceed within 45 days after bid opening.
