Site work and new construction of a power facility in James River Bridge, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a power facility.

Plans call for a 5.26 MW solar energy farm in McDougal Flats, west of Sundre. The 80-acre parcel of land is located within the McDougal gravel pit, west of Range Road 60, south of Hwy. 584). Scope of work may involve approx. 17,000, 400-watt solar panels within 27.8 acres located in the northwest side of the site. TIMELINE: Project has not been approved by the council. No further movement or construction is expected to ensue. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
