Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The scope of work includes selective demolition, and the installation of E&S controls, electrical conduit, wiring, lighting (including conc. bases), crushed stone, concrete, asphalt, signage, street trees, brick pavers, all other related site work as indicated or reasonably implied on the contract documents and drawings. Prevailing wage rates and Related Acts apply to this Project. Bids must include a bid bond, with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount, all posted through the program. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. The contract requires conformance with the Non-Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause which can be found in the specifications of this project. The Borough of Macungie reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions of to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty (60) days.
