(As of 12/01/2021) Qualified firms desiring consideration shall submit one (1) original and two copies of complete proposal packages, clearly marked Sealed Bids to Gary La Venia, City Manager at 506 W Berckman Street, Fruitland Park, Florida 34731 on or before the date and time stipulated above. The city will not be responsible in the event the U.S. Postal Service or any other courier system fails to deliver any proposal by the deadline date stated above. The city reserves the right to reject any or all submittals and to waive any or all informalities, non-substantial irregularities in items received whenever such rejection is in the best interest of the city or to accept the proposal which best serves the interest of the city. In accordance with Florida Statutes 287.133(2)(a), any person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017 for Category Two for a period of thirty-six (36) months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list. All firms are hereby placed on formal notice that neither the City of Fruitland Park Commission, any employees of the city, nor any members of the Professional Services Review Committee are to be lobbied or queried in any manner, either individually or collectively, concerning this project, except that questions may be directed to the city manager and project engineer as stated in the invitation to bid. Any such activities may cause immediate disqualification for this project.
