The project includes the following work: All work related to the construction of a new 1.0 MG water tank and all associated appurtenances with the exclusion of the supply, and installation of the tank itself. This will be completed by the tank supplier and was bid separately. Project work more specifically includes the construction of the cast-in-place concrete tank foundation per the tank manufacturers specifications, DI and PVC water pipes and associated appurtenances, precast concrete utility vault, seismic system with an actuated valve and seismic flexible joints, installation of existing level sensor and associated SCADA system on new tank, excavation, backfill and perimeter drain associated with tank foundation, fencing and associated gate, and construction of a 10' x 12' control building, demolition and abandonment of the existing in-ground 300,000 GAL tank and backfill of same with onsite materials.. Additive Alternative A: includes the construction of a magnetic flow meter and all associated appurtenances housed in a precast concrete utility vault.
