Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Galloway, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of 1/19/2022, all bids were rejected and the project is cancelled. No date for rebid as of now. The University is seeking to contract with a qualified vendor to provide landscape renovations at the Jimmie Leeds Roads entrance, located on the Galloway, NJ campus. Work to be performed under this project includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following. For additional information, please view the associated Specification document. 1. The purpose of this project is to enhance the aesthetics of Stockton University Galloway campus's main entrance located at the intersection of Vera King Farris Drive and Jimmie Leeds Road through biodiverse landscape improvements and hardscape improvements. 2. The main components of the project include: Creation of 1.7 acres of native meadow in place of existing lawn, native herbaceous & woody plantings, 5-foot bituminous walk & ADA ramp, eight (8) pull off parking parallel parking spaces, landscape enhancement to entrance signs, pea gravel walk, one bench, and other incidental work as detailed on Marathon's bid set. 3. The scope of project does not include utility work (water, sewer, electrical, gas, cable, or stormwater). 4. The project shall be completed within a six-month period starting at such a time as stipulated in these bid documents. Stockton's preference is that work scope which is suitable for late fall/early winter weather construction would commence in 2021 with the remainder to be finished in 2022.
