Site work and paving for a road / highway in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project generally involves grinding, cold milling, hauling and disposal of the existing asphalt and concrete, installment of new pavement, raising appurtenances and survey monuments to grade, reconstruction of survey monument boxes, street sweeping, replacing traffic striping and markers and devices, and preparing traffic control drawings, obtaining permits, and preparing storm drain inlet protection. Engineer's Estimate: $9,988,461.65 Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified check, a cashier's check or a bidder's bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate amount of the bid. Checks shall be made payable to the order of the City of San Jose. Bidders must have a California contractor's license, classification A or C-12 to bid this project.
