Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of December 8, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** This project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: lift station demolition and construction; force main construction; sanitary sewer replacement; water main replacement; detention pond and volume control construction; access road construction; pavement and landscape restoration; and other appurtenant work for a total distance of 2,165 feet (0.41 miles). The successful bidder must furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond in the full amount of the bid. All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. & the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/0.01 et. seq). Any Bid Proposal submitted unsigned or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, will be disqualified and returned to the bidder. The Village of Buffalo Grove reserves the right to reject any and all bids and bidders and to waive all technicalities. All bid proposals submitted shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days. The Village reserves the right to award to any bidder based on negotiation with any and all bidders after receipt of bids.
