As of November 6, 2023, project was awarded to Boller Construction, awarded amount is $4,310,187.97. The project consists of demolition, concrete, masonry, steel, wood structure, carpentry, roofing, doors and frames, flooring, ceilings, painting, site furnishings, prefabricated engineered structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, earthwork, exterior improvements, utilities and landscaping. The project site is located at Mike Rylko Community Park, 951 McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Question Deadline 09/18/2023, Requests for clarifications must be submitted by e-mail to Maria Blood, mblood@uplanddesign.com prior to that date and time. The Buffalo Grove Park District is a public body that is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 48, Paragraph 39s-1, et seq. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond to the owner equal to (100%) one hundred percent of the proposal amount. The cost of the performance and payment bond will be included in each bidder's proposal. The Board of Commissioners of the Buffalo Grove Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make an award that is in the best interest of the Park District.
