In general, the work on this project consists of complete removal and replacement of the asphaltic shingle roofing system at the Stafford Water Treatment Building and Well House No. 7 owned by the Township of Stafford located in Ocean County, New Jersey as detailed in the specifications. The work included under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision required to complete the "Sanitary Sewer Lagoon Crossing Phase III" Project for the Township of Stafford, Ocean County, New Jersey. The project is in the Beach Haven West region of the Township, this bid pertains to the crossing between Morris Boulevard and Walter Boulevard. The work includes the construction of a sanitary sewer siphon beneath the lagoon including the replacement of influent and effluent manholes, connecting to the existing sanitary sewer gravity system, testing, and complete site restoration. In general, the work on this project includes the rehabilitation of three (3) existing treatment plant filters with new GreensandPlus(TM) iron removal filter media with alternates for the fourth (4th) andfifth (5th) filters. The rehabilitation includes removal and disposal of spent gravel, anthracite and permanganate greensand media; inspection of filter underdrain systems and report on if repairs are necessary; installation of the new filter underbed gravel, GreensandPlus(TM) filter media, and anthracite; disinfection, rinsing, testing, and placing the filters back into permanent service
