Renovation of a detention facility in Lubbock, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Lubbock County Commissioners Court will receive sealed competitive bids for installation of new cooling systems for the I.T. room at the Lubbock County Detention Center, 3502 North Holly, Lubbock, Texas. Size, capacity and specifics of equipment shall be as shown in the bid documents. Project shall include installation of in-row cooling systems, air handler, chilled water piping, ductwork, air-cooled condensing unit, and includes all piping and electrical modifications as required and shown on the drawings. Director of Purchasing may be contacted via phone at 806-775- 1015. Bids shall be made on a stipulated sum basis. Segregated bids will not be accepted. Selection will be based on best value for the Owner. Bid security in the sum of 5% of the Total bid amount and in the form of a cashier's check, certified check or Surety Bid Bond, shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject all bids. In accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, all bidders must comply with State Labor Laws concerning wage rates.
