Renovation of a municipal facility in Hudson, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
T106 The Town of Hudson is seeking MA.-certified mechanical contractors to install a new insulated flue within a brick enclosed exterior chimney, at the MA. Historic listed Hudson Town Hall. The selected mechanical contractor shall be responsible for removal of the existing vertical corrugated metal flue, preparation of the existing brick chimney enclosure, including possible removal of brick obstructions within the chimney and complete installation and connection to an existing insulated exhaust flue installed within the last four years. Limited masonry and carpentry support services have been procured under separate contract, to provide access openings to the existing brick chimney. For bids over $25,000, a 5% Bid Deposit and 50% Payment Bond is required, per M.G.L. c.30. The Town of Hudson requires listing of town as additionally insured. Removal of existing flue and installation of a new insulated flue within exterior chimney
