Hough Street Elementary and Sunny Hill Elementary School Renovation for Barrington Community Unit School District 220 The Board of Education of Barrington Community Unit School District 220, Cook, Lake, McHenry, and Kane Counties, Illinois is accepting bid proposals for the Hough Street Elementary School Renovation, and the Sunny Hill Elementary School Renovation, both located in Barrington, Illinois. This project will bid multiple trade packages: Demolition, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Roofing, Glass & Glazing, Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, General Trades, Folding Panel Partitions, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Landscaping, Earthwork, Site must include Utilities. Bidders all work associated with the contract documents. Refer to the contract documents for additional information related to the scope of work. Prime Trade Agreements for the Work will be assigned to the Construction Manager. Contractors shall guarantee their submitted Bid Proposal for a ninety (90) day period from the date of Bid Opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100%. Contractor's Qualifications Statement must be submitted at time of bid or already be on file with Pepper Construction. Compliance with Prevailing Wages and all equal employment practices is required. The Community Unit School District 220 Board of Education is not obligated to accept the lowest or any other bid and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, reject non-conforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive any informalities and irregularities in bidding procedure, and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the District.
