The project is located within eastern Harris County and is part of Harris County M.U.D. No. 213-A. It is located north of Wallisville Road, east of Haney Road, west of Garth Road, and north of a CWA Canal. From I-10, take the John Martin Road (Exit 791) and travel north approximately 1.2 miles along John Martin Road, then east on Wallisville Road approximately 0.9 miles, then North on Garth Rd approximately .5 miles to the proposed site. The project site is in Harris County, Key Map 461-J. For construction contracts over $50,000, the bidder shall submit either a 2% certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 90 days from the date bids are open. a. INITIAL SCOPE OF WORK: (1) The initial scope of work is defined as staking activities which are required to set lines and grades for the Contractor's scope of work, as shown in the originally bid construction documents and further specified in 1.0(a) of this document (2) The fees for the Initial Scope of Work will be per the Lump Sum price established in the Construction Staking Services Agreement. b. ADDITIONAL SCOPE: (1) Changes to the Contractor's scope of work due to approved Change Orders may require adjustment to the originally bid Lump Sum price. (2) Adjustments to the staking price due to Additional Scope will be included in the Change Order which modified the Contractor's scope. (3) Any Re-Staking or office/field efforts which result from correcting discrepancies mentioned in 1.1(C)(2) and 1.1(C)(3) are considered Additional Scope and shall be charged to the contractor. c. RE-STAKING: (1) Re-staking will be billed to the Contractor at JC's standard hourly rates and is not eligible for payment by Owner.
