Submit Written Questions Vendor November 19th 2021 at 12:00PM EST Provide Responses to Questions UNCG November 23rd, 2021 BACKGROUND The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Facilities Operations Department is seeking a Contractor capable of replacing an existing Feedwater Pump and performing installation of subsidiary equipment at the Central Steam Plant on the University campus. The successful Contractor will be capable of providing all labor, material, and equipment to deliver a turn-key solution by performing the work as follows. This work may include, but is not limited to: remove the existing feedwater pump and motor; furnish, deliver and install a new feedwater pump and motor that meets or exceeds the existing performance specifications; install new permanent rigging for R&R of feedwater pumps and motors; remove and replace existing plumbing; install and paint new insulation on removed or damaged plumbing; install a new VFD to be located in the basement with the other existing feedwater pump VFD's; run all new wiring associated with the system to hook into the existing Steam Plant Controls; and test all operations and functions. Upon review of the IFB documents, Vendors may have questions to clarify or interpret the IFB in order to submit the best bid possible. To accommodate the Bid Questions process, Vendors shall submit any such questions by the above due date.
