The project limits are approximately 1.8 miles. The project consists of the following: Removal of old utility and stormwater infrastructure; installation of new water/sewer & stormwater & fiber conduit; traffic calming; intersection improvements; a 6-8 foot wide trail along Lake Elbert; landscaping/tree installation/irrigation; rain gardens; small trailhead at Polk State College with passive park improvements; road resurfacing; sidewalk connections. The southeastern and southwestern sides will connect into an existing trail along SR 542 / Dundee Road The project must achieve substantial completion within 420 consecutive Calendar Days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The project must then have all punch list items completed within 30 Calendar Days after substantial completion has been achieved.
