The Work is to brace sections of the Thickening Feed Sludge (THFS) and Co-Thickened Sludge (CTS) pipe in the Thickening and Dewatering (T&D) building basement. A dampener will attach to the nozzle of each THFS pump. Work involves relocation of some utilities and equipment (plant water pipe, valves, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) conflicting with the new steel and dampener installation. All communications concerning this IFB must be in writing. Written questions regarding details of this IFB will be accepted (i.e., must be received) by OC SAN until 5:00 P.M. (Pacific Time Zone), November 23, 2021. Written questions must be sent to the attention of Jay Kaura, Contracts Administrator by email at construction@ocsan.gov. All questions submitted to OC SAN shall contain the following title in the Subject line: "PROJECT NO. FE20-06: Bidder Questions."
