Renovation of a municipal facility in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of November 19, 2021, project will be awarded on December 6, 2021. All bid proposals are to be made on the forms provided and will be made a part of the contract documents to be executed with the City. The envelope shall be marked: "Sealed Bid - 200 MAIN ST - BUILDING MASONRY REHABILITATION", and the name of the bidder. Attendance by prospective bidders or their designated representatives at the pre-bid conference is a pre-requisite to bidding the project. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the scheduled closing time for a period of ninety (90) days. Minorities and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids on these services. The City of West Chicago requires all construction Contractors bidding on Public Works projects and all of their sub-contractors to be governed by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals, to waive any informality in any bid proposal, to readvertise the proposed services, and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the City. All bidding questions must be submitted in writing by 12:00 PM CST on November 12, 2021. All questions will be answered and posted on the QuestCDN advertisement by 4:00 PM CST on November 15, 2021.
