As of November 23, 2021, project will be awarded on December 6, 2021. All bid proposals are to be made on the forms provided and will be made a part of the contract documents to be executed with the City. Bid proposals are to be received in a sealed 9"x12" or 10"x13' envelope. The envelope shall be marked: "Sealed Bid - 200 MAIN ST - ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT", and the name of the bidder. Attendance by prospective bidders or their designated representatives at the pre-bid conference is a pre-requisite to bidding the project. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the scheduled closing time for a period of ninety (90) days. Minorities and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids on these services. The City of West Chicago requires all construction Contractors bidding on Public Works projects and all of their sub-contractors to be governed by the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
