Estimated Amount: $1,140,930.00 The Contract Bond must be the amount of 100% of the successful bidder's Contract amount. Small Business Goal for this Bid Package is 30%. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:
1. Site preparation and deep foundations. This contract includes the dilled piers but not the pile caps. Pile cap details are shown for reference.
2. Contractor is responsible for procuring and paying for all permits as required by all Authorities Having Jurisdiction to complete the work in the Contract Documents.
3. Contractor shall remove spoils from drilling piles from the site.
4. Bid Package #1 Contractor will place a temporary access road to Logan Street which will remain in place throughout the duration of bid package #2. BP #2 Contractor is responsible for maintaining this access road for public use and construction traffic as needed. Refer to drawing C220.
5. The Owner has furnished the perimeter fence around the site. BP #2 Contractor is to maintain the owner-furnished chain link and water barrier perimeter fence. a. Estimated number of water barriers - 195 b. Estimated number of chain link fence panels - 195 B. Type of Contract: 1. Bid Package 2 will be constructed under a single prime contract. A. General: Cooperate fully with Owner so work may be carried out smoothly without interfering or delaying work under this Contract or work by Owner. Coordinate the Work of this Contract with work performed by Owner.
B. Preceding Work: Owner will perform the following construction operations at the Project site. Those operations are scheduled to be substantially complete before work under this Contract begins. 1. Utility relocations, to include Duke Gas and Electric, Cincinnati Bell, Verizon, Spectrum, and water and sewer mains are being done in bid package #1. 2. Demolition and clearing work is included in bid package #1.
C. Concurrent Work: Owner will award separate contracts for the following construction operations at the Project site. Those operations will be conducted simultaneously with work under this Contract. 1. Utility companies could be performing their scopes of work at the same time as this bid package.
