Renovation of a fire / police facility in El Cerrito, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The City of El Cerrito ("City") requests proposals from qualified firms ("Contractor") to perform roof repair work at the Public Safety Building. The services and tasks to be performed include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, services, tasks, and incidental and customary work necessary to competently perform roofing work at the Public Safety Building located at 10900 San Pablo Ave., El Cerrito, CA, 94530, as described in the Request for Proposals (RFP) below. Nothing contained in this scope of work shall relieve the contractor from the responsibility of accurately measuring the work or otherwise insuring that the quantities used in preparing the proposal are the actual quantities of the work to be accomplished under the contract. The scope of work included has been prepared to describe the standard of quality, performance, and other characteristics needed to meet City requirements. This is a modified synopsis and does not relieve the contractor from any of the stipulations and requirements set forth by the California Standard Building Code and good roofing practices as defined by the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA). The term is intended to commence on December 6, 2021, and terminate on January 31, 2022.
