Renovation of a municipal facility in Canton, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Bids shall be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank bid forms provided with the Specifications and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the bid, execute a contract and post-Performance and Payment Bonds in the form and amount within the time specified. The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner All bids submitted in excess of $50,000 by a Prime or Subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance, or related work must be in compliance with and subject to Sections 31-3-15 and 31-3-21 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 as annotated and amended, and in all case law pertaining thereto. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, Madison County Board of Supervisors have the right to reject any and all bids. The Project consists of the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment to construct and ready for operation the work and all associated construction within the time stated and in strict accordance with the construction documents of Madison County Annex Exterior Repairs.
